Team Day: Reflecting on the Past, Shaping the Future

On a beautiful and sunny Friday in August, we brought the entire ICSRange team together for a day filled with professional insights, team spirit and a look towards the future we are creating together.

In our day-to-day work, we are busy supporting our customers, developing products and technology, and working on exciting projects. That is why it is something special to be able to step away from our usual routines and spend an entire day together - reflecting on where we came from, where we are today, and, not least, where we want to go.

Where have we come from - and where are we going?

The day included presentations and discussions about ICSRange as a company. We took a look back at our journey so far and reflected on where we are today.

At the same time, we spent time looking ahead.

For us, development is not only about technology and products. It is just as much about people, ideas and having a shared understanding of the direction we want to move in.

The team day therefore provided a great opportunity to share thoughts and perspectives across the team - and make time for the conversations that can easily get lost in the busy day-to-day.

Of course, technology had to be part of the day too

When you work at ICSRange, it is difficult to keep an entire day completely free of technology. 😉

We were given a demo of our OTCP, as well as an introduction to ICSRange Light.

This gave us an opportunity to dive deeper into some of the solutions we work with every day, while also sharing knowledge and ideas across the team.

It is always exciting to see our products from different perspectives and gain new insights from colleagues working across different parts of the business.

A team day is also about spending time together

Although professional topics were an important part of the day, they were far from the only things on the agenda.

An equally important part of the day was simply spending time together in a different setting.

We put work aside for a while and spent time offline with social activities, plenty of laughs and lots of great conversations. Because even though we work together towards common goals every day, there is something special about having the time to simply be together as a team.

And, of course, a good team day also requires good food. 😋

We started the day with croissants and coffee, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and finished the afternoon with coffee and cake. As the day drew to a close, we gathered for a delicious dinner, where there was plenty of time to continue the great conversations and simply enjoy each other’s company.

It was the perfect ending to a day filled with professional insights, laughter, great conversations and team spirit.
